I have always been a nutrition geek when it comes to gut health, so when I had the opportunity to take this course for CEUs, I jumped on it. I loved Linda's book, Dog Food Logic, so I knew this course would piggy back on it but having Linda narrate the information made it that much better. I highly recommend this course for anyone who has a dog, or works with dogs.

Before taking this course I had taken another (more expensive) online canine nutrition course that was supposed to be science based. It turned out that the course, although it did have plenty of studies, did not have updated versions of those studies and the coursewas really just reading a veterinary canine nutrition textbook and proving you read it via short answer questions. Very little was said on raw and homemade food, nothing on dietary DCM, and not much text was provided outside the extremely dry reading. I left with my certificate feeling like I knew a lot of information that would only be applicable if I worked in a lab or pursued a veterinary career. In this course (and the other two in the series) I actually felt supported and like the instructor worked very hard to get up to date information and make it easy to understand. In addition, she left plenty of space and room for discussion and questions, as well as focusing on information that is actually applicable in real life. I feel so much more equipped to choose food for my own dog and assist clients after finishing this course than I did previously. After finishing my first certification I was questioning whether I even liked this subject anymore or wanted to use it in my business or my personal life. But during this course I have been telling my partner what I have learned each lesson and how interesting it is and now he is excited about canine nutrition and telling his office coworkers who have dogs what he has learned from me! Thank you Linda!!
