Cats are dependent on their owners to determine when, what, and how they eat, which can impact their welfare. In this webinar, Dr. Delgado reviews research related to feline feeding behavior, including her recently published work regarding cats' response to contrafreeloading and owners' use of food puzzles as a way to accommodate predatory behavior. Because feeding-related concerns are common among cat owners, this webinar provides practical tips and advice for managing cats who are fed different types of foods, who may be finicky eaters or overweight, and the benefits of using food to modify cat behavior.
